BIOGRAPHY

Lorne Resnick was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. His passion for travel and photography keeps him moving around the globe exploring different cultures and countries, capturing unique moments with his camera.

He began his career photographing rock concerts in his home town of Toronto, capturing peak moments in the all-consuming fire and flash that is live rock and roll, featuring performers from Bruce Springsteen to Madonna. Resnick’s striking stock and fine art images have been exhibited in galleries across Europe and America, and have been used commercially for annual reports, billboards, television, web sites and for worldwide advertising campaigns.

His pursuit of unique and compelling images has led him to Papua New Guinea, Vietnam, Greenland, Cuba, China, across Europe and 22 countries in Africa. He lived in Amsterdam for six years working on commercial projects and spent more than a year in each of Cuba and Africa working on long-term book projects. He now lives and works in Los Angeles as a fine art and commercial photographer.

BIOGRAPHY

Edward Mole started taking photographs when just six years old, with a basic film camera. However it was the gift of a digital camera (won in an ‘Extreme Marmiting’ competition!) that really sparked his interest. His father and brother, Charlie, are also very keen so they take cameras with them everywhere they go.

Edward likes being ‘the observer’ particularly in the bustle and vibranceof cities and at events such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where his award-winning portfolio was shot. He also loves wild landscapes – for instance the rough seas of Pembrokeshire.

“I am lucky to have encouragement from my art teacher at school to take pictures and I chose to base a recent art project on the work of French photographer Henri Cartier Bresson. This inspired me to do more black and white photography and street photography and to keep an eye open for the ‘decisive moment’.

Edward hopes to become a sports doctor one day, and is contemplating combining this with being a sports photographer. “Whatever I do I know my camera will always be with me.”
