|
| Professional photographer Chris Coe and digital imaging expert Terry Steeley will guide you through the whole process, from preparing to shoot to outputting your images. Chris has 18 years experience as a working professional photographer, shooting a range of subjects including travel, landscape, people, wildlife and architectural images. Terry is one of the country's leading experts in digital imaging and has vast experience in image manipulation, retouching, colour management, design, print and web design. |
Highlights
-
Day 1 - shoot day. The course will start with a session on what makes a good image and how to use your equipment to get it. For the rest of the day we'll be out shooting and putting the lessons learned into practice photographing a range of subjects.
-
Day 2 - shoot, then review and edit images from Day 1, then shoot again before preparing and sorting for digital image manipulation and output on Day 3. This day will help you to see and correct some of the mistakes you're making with your images and to tighten them up. It will also help you to select your best images and work out how you could have made them better when you took them.
-
Day 3 - digital imaging day. We'll take you through the last but very important stage of photography, showing you how to minimise the time spent staring at a computer screen by guiding you through the image manipulation process using sound techniques that will get the best out of your images rather than damaging them. We will finish the day by looking at how you optimise images for different uses, how to print them and how to output them for web use.
