BIOGRAPHY

Julian Love was born in the UK but spent much of his childhood abroad. His interest in photography was sparked by chance during a month long trip to China when, while he was about to pack his compact camera, a friend suggested taking along the old SLR instead. After burning through his entire supply of film in the first few days it soon become clear the travel photography bug had taken hold. He has since explored the cities and mountains of Europe, North Africa, South America and the Himalaya searching for authentic pictures that convey the true character of a place.

Finally, after 10 years only occasionally escaping from behind a desk, Julian now manages to spend most of the year travelling and photographing. His images have appeared in books, magazines and brochures for a variety of clients in the UK and Europe. He can usually be found with a camera to his eye, waiting for the light to be just right.
