Welcome to TPOTY online entry.
TPOTY 2013 accepts image entries by print or online apart from our HD Video category (DVD) which is by post only. To submit prints please go to the Print Entry page and follow the instructions.
Preparing your images for submitting online
Please re-size your original images for your online entry so that they are smaller for the image upload system. See upload image size for online entry below.
If you are selected as a finalist, you will be asked to submit prints, plus a CD or DVD of high-res files of your images by 20th November.
Original image size
Original images for: Portfolios/ New Talent/ One Shot/ Young TPOTY categories must be high enough resolution to be printed at 30cm x 25cm (3600 pixels along longest length) at 300dpi. Camera phone images will not be accepted for these categories.
First Shot only: Entered images taken on a phone must be shot on a mobile phone camera of at least 1 megapixel. Images shot on basic digital or film cameras must be taken using the highest image quality setting.
Image size for uploading for online entry
Uploaded images should be in jpeg file format and be sized to no more than 800 pixels wide. The maximum file size for uploaded images should be 1 Mb at an image resolution of 72dpi.
Please do not use underscores in your file names (e.g. your_name_categoryname_image1.jpg).
Submitting images online
Click the link below to be taken to the online entry image upload area. On this page we'll guide you through the process of registering for online entry, uploading your images and paying your entry fees (if applicable).
If you have any problems entering online please email us. We'll be happy to help but please be patient, especially as the closing date approaches.
PLEASE NOTE; if you enter online and are shortlisted, you will be required to submit prints for final judging. We will notify you in October 2013 if you have been shortlisted.
Entries close on 1st October, but online entry will remain open until 09.00 hours on 2nd October 2013 (UK time), to allow entrants in a different time zone to the UK to complete their entries on 'their' 1st October.
