Get a free entry for introducing a friend to TPOTY

Over the years many people have entered these awards and every one of those photographers has contributed to making it such a great photo contest. So we'd like to say 'Thank You'.

If you've entered TPOTY in any of the previous years you are eligible to receive a discounted entry fee for TPOTY 2012 through 'Introduce a Friend' if someone you introduce to TPOTY (who has not entered the awards before) decides to enter this year.

For each recommended friend who then enters TPOTY 2012 you'll receive a £10 refund on your entry fee for the 2012 awards*. Recommend enough friends and your entry this year could be completely free!

What's more, anyone you introduce who enters will qualify for the 'Introduce a Friend' scheme next year and they'll be able to get discounted entry if anyone who they recommend for the 2013 TPOTY awards goes on to enter.

How it works

1. Click on the email icon below to automatically generate an 'Introduce a Friend' email.
2. Add your friend's email address to the To: part of the email address header.
3. Just send the email. A copy of this email will be received by the TPOTY and logged against your name.
4. When one of your friends enters TPOTY 2012 all they need to do is forward the same email, which you've sent to them, on to us and we match up their entry with your name. Then we give you a refund*. It's that simple!

Please note: Once this year's awards have closed we'll refund £10 of your own entry fee for each of your friends who is a new entrant to TPOTY. Refunds will be made by the same method as you used to pay your entry fee.

'Introduce a Friend' only applies to friends who make paid-for entries to TPOTY 2012. It does not apply to Young TPOTY entries, which are free - though please encourage any talented youngsters you know to enter anyway!

In the event that two different people introduce the same person, the refund will be given to the person who first sent the first 'Introduce a Friend' email, based on the date and time in that email header.
