Svalbard

This is wild country and there are more polar bears on the Svalbard than there are people. January is the middle of winter and the almost continual darkness gives a great chance of seeing the sky light up.

The half light is also magical, giving us plenty of opportunity to photograph the winter landscape and the to explore Svalbard. As well as hunting the lights we'll be visiting the ice cave, and you'll also have to go dog sledding and or on a snowmobile safari as an optional extra.
