The Adventure Travel Experts
We are a company of passionate travellers who have been running small group adventure holidays throughout the world for 30 years. Our goal is simply to give our customers the best possible adventure holiday experience.
We have always been passionate about travel. Our founders ran overland trips through Asia, Africa and the Americas before establishing Explore in 1981. We're proud to say that their pioneering spirit of adventure continues to define everything we do. A love of travel remains at the heart of our company - we travel extensively: both to research new destinations and to enjoy our own adventure holidays.
From small beginnings we've grown to provide over 500 tours in more than 130 countries. Our specialty is small group travel – this means you have the freedom to explore on your own terms but with the comfort and security of being part of a group. We've got lots more too, such as Family adventures, Polar cruises, Short breaks and bespoke Tailormade holidays.
The key secret to our success is quite simple: we have the best Tour Guides in the business. These are the people who make the holiday come alive – hand picked because of their friendly characters and their expert knowledge of the countries they work in. Explore customers are consistently amazed by how much more they can take from their holiday by travelling in the company of our guides.
Don't just travel – Explore!
