The Prizes In Detail
The three portfolio category winners - Mankind - Land, Sea, Sky - Journeys & Adventures - will each receive a Fujifilm X-Series camera and lens of their choice.
Fujifilm’s flagship model, the retro-style X-Pro2 packs a 24-megapixel APS-C sized X-Trans CMOS III sensor and super fast X Processor Pro into a classic rangefinder style body. Solid, tactile controls give you access to the whole exposure triangle at your fingertips, with the aperture ring on the lens and dedicated shutter speed and ISO dial on the top of the body. The camera is perfect for observational photographers – not only does it look discreet, but the advanced hybrid multi viewfinder lets you choose between an Optical Viewfinder that lets you see outside of your shooting frame while you eye is to the camera, or an Electronic Viewfinder which lets you see in real time what the camera can see, including exposure adjustments and film simulation effects
The X-T1 features evolved SLR-style handling, mechanical dials and weather-resistance (when paired with a weather resistant X mount lens), together with all the benefits of an X-Series camera, such as compact size, excellent mobility and high-speed performance. What’s more, its newly developed electronic viewfinder is almost indistinguishable from an optical viewfinder thanks to its ultra fast display speed
Built with the finest materials, all Fujinon lenses are assembled by hand with meticulous attention to detail
