We would like to thank everybody who entered the awards the year and to congratulate all our finalists and thank them for submitting such wonderful images, which gave the judges a very hard task when it came to deciding who should be shortlisted! Images were submitted from photographers in more than 140 countries, so to be shortlisted is a significant achievement in itself.
