One Shot Category: Dusk to Dawn

Low light and night photography present photographers with a different set of challenges but also with wonderful opportunities to capture the world differently. In this category you can use either natural or artificial light - including flash - as your primary light source, but the image must have been shot between dusk and dawn. The choice of subject is yours as long as it’s travel-related. You can shoot the night sky, the first or last rays of sunlight, in the light of a camp fire, a low light interior, artificial lights at night or a combination of these.

You can enter B&W or colour images.

What subjects can you include?

Any subject but shot between the dusk and dawn in ambient low light or night time artificial light.

How many images?

What are the judges looking for?
