2025 Winners

Welcome to the winners’ gallery for the 2025 awards

In TPOTY the judging is don’t anonymously. Our judges do not know who entered the images until after the judging is completed. Generative AI is not permitted and entrant must submit RAW files (or adjacent jpegs if not shot in RAW) for final judging. if these are not supplied then the image(s) will not be eligible to win.

We would like thank all our entrants for supporting us, together with our fantastic judging panel, who gave so much of their time to select the winners. The exceptional standard of entries for Travel Photographer of the Year continued in 2025… but judge for yourself.

Video Categories

Our World

Over the years we’ve had some great entries in the video category, but the 2025 entries were disappointing, either lacking a clear impactful narrative or a polished or tight ending.

As a result, only two videos in the Our World category were awarded highly commended (videos will appear here shortly).

Christian Weiser (Germany)

Joy Saha (Bangladesh)

However the judges felt no entry merited winning this award.

Shooting Travel

In the Shooting Travel category none of the entries fulfilled the brief of showing how a photographer works, so the judges decided not to award a winner.

People’s Choice Winner

Mark Julian Edwards, UK

Congratulations of all the winners and thank you to everyone who entered the 2025 awards.

Our sponsors and partners
