Many congratulations on being a finalist in the 2025 Travel Photographer of the Year awards. Please read all the information on this page carefully as it tells you exactly how to provide the items we need to consider your entry or entries in final judging.
Our final round of judging starts on 5th December. We must have everything from you by 5th December at the latest. This deadline will not be extended so If you have a problem meeting this date please contact us as soon as possible.
To view your shortlisted entry/ies, please FIRSTLY log into your account here: https://competition.tpoty.com/wp/wp-login.php. Once logged in, click on the ‘My Entries’ menu item and scroll down the page to the My Shortlisted Entries section, where you will see your shortlisted image/s. Please note, if you are shown as shortlisted in a portfolio but can only see one or two images from that portfolio in your shortlist, those images have been shortlisted as potential best single images and we only need the files for these, not the full portfolio. But they will also be automatically eligible for Travel Image of the Year.
We now need you to provide the following:
- THE ORIGINAL (RAW) FILES OF EACH SHORTLISTED IMAGE. This should be the image as you shot it, without any manipulation and with all metadata intact. We always check the original files to make sure that any manipulation that may have been done is within our rules. If you did not shoot RAW, but only shot jpeg original files, please also upload the original image(s) together with the images taken immediately before and after the shortlisted frame(s). Upload details appear further down this page.
- HIGH RESOLUTION FILES OF EACH IMAGE LOOKING AS IT DID WHEN YOU ENTERED IT INTO THE AWARDS (largest possible files) – In order to print entries for our exhibitions and books we need the highest quality file possible, and these will be especially important this year as we check them for online judging. So please send the processed file from the RAW as a tif without downsizing. Please do not downsize your files – the larger the file, the bigger we can print the image if selected for our exhibitions. If you can only provide a jpeg, it should be the largest possible file. If the biggest file you have is small, please do not upsize, we will do that if necessary using professional rip software. Please make any adjustments to the image as you would wish to see it published, but please do not sharpen it. Upload details appear further down this page.
- ONLINE CAPTIONS FOR EACH IMAGE – links to the forms appear further down this page.
- YOUR FINALIST DECLARATION AND BIOGRAPHY – a link to the form appears at the end of this page
If you are a finalist in the HD video category only, you only need to submit your finalist declaration and biography – link at the bottom of this page.
SUPPLYING THE IMAGE FILES:
