We’re delighted to be taking the Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY) to South America for the first time for Foto Festival Manzana 1 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra – Bolivia. This will be TPOTY’s 50th major international exhibition.
The inaugural international photo festival in Bolivia took place during the autumn of 2022, in the city of Santa Cruz. The event was orchestrated by the Manzana 1 Gallery, operating under the leadership director Ejti Štih and creative director Matjaž Krivic.
This year the festival will host some interesting names from the photography industry: Photographers Esther Horwath, Brent Stirton, Chris Coe, Natela Grigalashvili, Mads Nissen, Ana Maria Arevalo Gosen, Klavdij Sluban, Florence Goupil, Tomas Munita, Maxim Dondyuk, Philipe Dudouit, plus some leading industry experts: Marie A. Monteleone, Cyril Drouhet, Monica Allende, Soren Pagter, James B. Wellford
The exhibition will be a retrospective of the winning images from the last 21 years of the Travel Photographer of the Year awards.
TPOTY founder, Chris Coe, will also be teaching some workshops during the festival. More details to follow….
