We’d like to welcome two new sponsors to our line up for this year’s award: MPB and the Photocloser.
MPB is the largest global platform to buy, sell and trade used photography and videography kit. We are the simple, safe and circular way to trade, upgrade and get paid for kit. We’re excited about having them on board because it fits with our sustainability and responsible photography ethos.
MPB is sponsoring the three One Shot categories and the HD Video category, with prizes of a £1000 MPB voucher to spend on used photography and videography kit on MPB.com.
The Photocloser is a photo agency run but top New York agent Frank Meo. They are providing three rather special prizes: The overall winner – Travel Photographer of the Year 2023 – will have a review of their work in a session with Frank himself. In addition, this year’s judges will choose two of the finalists in any of the four portfolio categories (not necessarily the winners) to also have their work reviewed.
We’re also sad to say goodbye to Fujifilm UK after many years of supporting us, both a one of the founding sponsors back in 2003 and more recently when they returned. We’d like to say a huge thank you to them for their support. they will now be focusing their efforts on the Fujifilm House of Photography in Covent Garden in London.
